At least that is what people always say about Hailey.  I am constantly hearing that Hailey looks exactly like me.  So, when I saw this Look-alike Meter on Tammi’s blog and then again on Andrea’s blog I had to give it a try.

So, apparently Hailey looks equally like me and Rich. 

Then, for fun I decided to try it out using Brooke’s picture.  While Brooke is my step-daughter we have always been told that we look alike.  Usually people think we’re sisters.  So, anyways, I decided to try it out with her picture.

And I got the same results- she looks equally like me and Rich.

Anyhoo- I know it’s not anything scientific- but it was fun to try it out. 

This week I can not help but to think about BooMama‘s trip to Uganda as I write my Thankful Thursday.  For those of you who do not read her blog, she went on a trip to Uganda with Compassion and I highly recommend that you read some of her recent posts (you could start with The Village or The Faces but really- it would probably be good for you to read all of her recent posts).  So this week I am thinking about some of the basic things that I have that I take for granted that so many of the children she visited to do not have.  Things like- indoor plumbing, running water, electricity, a home that is bigger than 6 feet by 8 feet, more than enough food- you know very simple things like that.  I just can not stop thinking about how fortunate I am and how much I really have.  We are all very wealthy when you consider how little so many others have.

This week I received two awards.  This first one is from Pam.

Thank you so much Pam.  I less-than-three your blog too!  (Just in case you’re like me and have no idea what that means- and you do not have access to a teenager to ask her- the less-than-three is supposed to represent a heart).  And so, I pass this lovely award on to two of my newest blogging friends Crystal and Rachel.

The second award I received was from Memoirs of a Mommy and it seems that I make her day.  Thanks so much Crystal!  I just recently started reading Memoirs of a Mommy and she has a lovely blog that makes my day too. 

Since I just passed this award on last week to just about everyone on my blogroll, I’m not going to pass it on again.
