This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of Allison Maslan, author of “Blast Off!”. All opinions are 100% mine.

Do you need a little kick in the pants to get yourself motivated to do something?  I know I have all sorts of things that I would like to be able to do in my life- but I never actually get motivated to try to meet my goals.  Life is short and goes by quickly and I’m not getting any younger.  So, maybe rather than sit around thinking about the things I want to be able to do I should read Blast Off! and see if it would offer me any solutions to my lack of being successful.

Blast Off! was written by Allison Maslan and it is a book to help you get motivated to set goals for yourself so that you can reach your dreams.  And it doesn’t matter what you’re trying to do- get promoted at work, find your soulmate or feel excited about each day of your life- this book can help.

Blast Off! was launched on January 19th and is available at your favorite websites for buying books like Barnes and Noble, Borders and it’s also available on Amazon.  The book retails for $24 but you can usually find it for cheaper on Amazon- like right now you can get it for around $16.50.  Prices usually vary on Amazon so be sure to check and see what the current price is.

If you’re ready to change your life then it might be time for you to check out this new book!

A Taste of Italy in Missouri?

February 20th, 2010 Melanie Posted in Blogging No Comments »

This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of Hiltons of Branson. All opinions are 100% mine.

I have never been to Italy- and although I would love to be able to go there someday I’m not sure how likely it is that I will ever make it to Italy.  That is kind of sad, now that I think about it.  Life is too short to spend it wanting to visit somewhere that you never get to go.  But I could go to Branson, Missouri for a lot less money.  So- what does Branson have to do with Italy?  Well next weekend (Friday, February 26th and Saturday, February 27th)  there will be an Italian Culinary Weekend in Branson Missouri.

And what exactly is an Italian Culinary Weekend?  I’ve never been to Branson, but if I did go- this weekend would be a great one to go.  We’d start out Friday night with a reception featuring antipasto and hors d’oeuvres.  On Saturday we would attend a hands on cooking demonstration and have a 5 course meal on Saturday night.  Sounds fabulous to me!! Package costs start at $429 for 2 people, which does not include your tax or gratuity.

Hopefully there would be a little extra time for Rich and I to see some of the other sites- like museums, shops, golf courses and theme parks.  There’s tons to do there!  So if you’re looking for a mid-winter getaway- make sure you book by February 23rd!
