To my faithful readers,

Some of you have repeatedly made comments about how I never post pictures of myself (ahem… Andrea).  And, so without further ado- I present you with a picture of me.

Alright, now that we have gotten that over with- on to my actual post. 

Have you ever been wearing your favorite pair of jeans and you bend over to pick something up, and whoopsie-daisy…. you show a bit more than you wanted to show.  You know what I’m talking about- your underwear or the dreaded plumber look, you know- all those things that we don’t want to be showing off to the world.

Well, I have found the solution.  And I will not keep it to myself.

Remember that picture of me, from earlier in the post? (Which you do not need to look back at- ever.) I am wearing a Hip-T under my regular shirt.  What exactly is a Hip-T you might be wondering?  It is the solution I just mentioned.

This is what a Hip-T actually looks like.  It’s a fabulous idea.  You pull it up over your jeans or skirt, over your hips and under your shirt.  It doesn’t add that extra bulky layer that would be added by wearing an extra shirt.  And no one wants an extra bulky layer across their stomach.  I think it’s the perfect solution to that whoopsie-daisy no one wants to have happen.

The other evening Hailey was playing on her new “whee.”  She was playing very nicely by herself and not asking for my attention at all.  So, I grabbed my laptop to get a bit of work blogging done while she was playing so nicely.

She was playing, I was blogging.  Then I heard Hailey saying, “Ah-ha, ah-ha.”  This is the sound that she makes when she wants to get my attention and doesn’t have the words for what she wants to say.  So, I looked up at her and did the sign for “I love you.”

Now if that isn’t the sweetest thing ever, then I don’t know what is.

I have to wear contacts so that I can see.  But, I hate wearing them.  My eyes are always so dry and they drive me crazy.  I do have glasses, but I also hate wearing those- they give me a headache. 

So, what can I do so that I can see and not be annoyed by glasses or contacts?  How about Lasik eye surgery? It does make me a little nervous to think about doing something like that, but so many people get it done safely.  I was reading some silly excuses that people make to not get Lasik eye surgery like:

• No Lasik because my elephant needs a nose job.
• No Lasik because my raccoon needs bail money.
• No Lasik because the cat needs new pajamas. 

Obviously those are just silly excuses, but so are so many other excuses that people make.  It’s time for me to consider Lasik in Walnut Creek.

I just wanted to say thank you to Dette over at Dance of Motherhood.  I entered a Mother’s Day contest over at her blog and I won third place.  Woot Woot!  She gave me 500 Entrecard credits.  I’m pretty excited about it, so I just had to share that with all of you.  Thanks Dette!!

Do you remember last weekend when my blog was down?  For a really long time?  It was so frustrating.  I guess I can be thankful it happened on a weekend when there isn’t as much blogging activity going on as there is during the week.  But still.  Since I’ve had this problem before we switched our hosting company.  The one I am with now is better- they actually respond when you email them.  But, there has been several times already that my sight has been down again.  Only for a few minutes at a time, nothing like days at a time- but it’s very annoying.

So, I have been checking into getting a better host for my blogs.  I was looking at Web Host Rating where I can get information about various hosting companies, what they provide and how their service is.  There are some great articles about dedicated server web hosting to be found as well.  One article that I found particularly useful to me was about Finding Cheap Web Hosting that is Reliable.

Anyhoo, I just wanted to share this great service with you- in case you are looking into a reliable host for your site.
