Hailey loves to look at the moon.  So the other night I took her outside to look at the moon while she ate her snack.  She was sitting on my lap eating her cookies and looking up at the moon.  I was looking at her wondering how it was possible for me to love one little person so very much.  I reached down at patted her leg as I thought about how much I love her. 

Hailey looked up at me and said, “You like being out here with me, don’t you Mommy?”

More than you can possibly know Hailey, more than you can possibly know.

A couple of weeks ago my cousin Beka, her husband Bill and their daughter Anika were coming through town on their way to visit Beka’s sister Vicki who had just had a baby.  So, they stopped here and we were able to spend some time together- which was way too short but tons of fun.

Hailey waited all day for their arrival- she could not stop checking the window to see if Anika was here yet.  She was beside herself with excitement!  Here are a few pictures of the cousins together:

So about a year ago I wrote down some things that Hailey said that I thought were cute and I never blogged about it.  Better late than never, I say- so here they are:

• Pajamas are called “banamas“
• Band-aids are called “ban-bains“
• Pacifier is called a “Sah-Sah“

I just wanted to remember.

I have been in a blog funk lately.  I just don’t want to post.  And I don’t think I have anything to post about. 

We are still waiting to close on our new house.  Still waiting.  No longer patiently.  Thankfully we are staying at my parents house until we can close.  We’ve been here for over 5 weeks now (instead of 1-2 weeks) and we are sooooo thankful for everything my parents have done for us.

Other than that- there’s not much to post about.  So, here are some random pictures of Hailey. 

Last weekend Rich and I went out to dinner and a movie (we saw Up- which was excellent!) and my parents watched Hailey.  She had a blast playing with her bubbles.  And of course, she had a blast playing with her Gramma and Pa!

Today Hailey enjoyed sharing the bubble fun with Dottie.  I’m not so sure Dottie enjoyed it as much as Hailey did.
