What A Nice Surprise!
Hailey gets excited by the little things in life- a dog going by our house, a car driving down the street, a school bus dropping off or picking up neighborhood kids for school, the mailman putting mail in our mailbox, etc. So, the other day when the mailman brought a package to our door she was beside herself with joy. And then when we saw the box was for her she could hardly wait for me to open it.
Once I got it open we saw there were some Crayola toddler markers and some Crayola toddler stampers from Aunt Jayme. No special reason, she just thought Hailey would enjoy them. Isn’t that just the nicest thing you’ve heard all day? So as Hailey screeched with delight (or perhaps impatience) I got the packages open so she could try them out. And of course- I took pictures.
Hailey loves the stampers- they are little farm animals- and I’m sure you can tell that she was excited.
She also enjoyed writing with the markers…
…stamping farm animals all over her arms…
…and tasting the red marker.
Thank you Aunt Jayme! I know there will be lots more to be had with the markers and the stamps!

Oh- just look at how happy she is! What fun! That is awesome. What a sweet thing that she sent that package for Hailey.
Wow your aunt is so sweet. Hailey sure is having a ball. She’s really an epitome of joy in these pictures. Give my love.
Happy Sunday!
What a nice surprise and what a nice gift for Hailey!!! I hope she enjoys them!
Have a good weekend, Melanie – see ya – Kellan
Well, at least Hailey enjoyed herself!
Awww…that is nice. Are those markers scented? I was wondering after I seen that Hailey had put it in her mouth.
oh the simple joys of children! I am sure she loved it.
She is having so much fun, I love it.
Those are pretty cool!
I haven’t seen those but then I don’t have any little people anymore.
And who doesn’t like to get surprises in the mail? Brings out the little kid excitement in all of us.
I love her HUGE HUGE smile! Tate also gets SOOO excited whenever we get parcels in the mail! haha. It’s cute!
Markers are always a big hit in our house, too. Somehow it doesn’t take long for them to go from paper to arms either!
That red tongue it too funny… It made me smile!
I wonder what red tastes like.
Too cute!!!
And that’s why we should mail surprise gifts to people we love. They like it so much.
