About a week ago Andrea “high-fived” (her word for tagged) me for this fun hoopla (her word for meme).  And since I have about a bazillion memes saved up for Meme Monday I decided to do this one today.  Because it was created by Andrea and so it deserves special recognition.

This is how it works:

1. Post these rules on your blog.
2. Just list 10 things that won’t likely ever come out of your mouth.
3. High-five (or ‘tag’) any amount of people to do the same on their blog.
4. Then come back here to Lifesong and let me know that you did it.

So, here are 10 things you will never hear me say:

1. Don’t worry about it hon, I’ll go shovel the driveway.
2. It’s too bad spring is here, I’ve really been enjoying all this snow.
3. A free trip to Disney World?  No thanks, we’re all set.
4. Chips Ahoy Chocolate Chip cookies?  Yuck.
5. Coffee?  No, I won’t be needing any of that today.
6. I can’t wait to walk on the treadmill today.
7. Why yes I do enjoy changing Hailey’s poopy diaper while she tries to climb up the wall.
8. It’s so nice to see that you’ve brought your obviously sick child to playgroup today.
9. I hope I don’t get any comments on my blog today.
10. Naahhh, I just don’t have any use for a million dollars.

I have a really easy week this week- I didn’t get tagged at all to do any memes.  I did receive a couple of awards this week.  First I got this one from Pam.  Thanks for thinking of me Pam!  I love my award.

This week I received two awards.  This first one is from Pam.

Thank you so much Pam.  I less-than-three your blog too!  (Just in case you’re like me and have no idea what that means- and you do not have access to a teenager to ask her- the less-than-three is supposed to represent a heart).  And so, I pass this lovely award on to two of my newest blogging friends Crystal and Rachel.

The second award I received was from Memoirs of a Mommy and it seems that I make her day.  Thanks so much Crystal!  I just recently started reading Memoirs of a Mommy and she has a lovely blog that makes my day too. 

Since I just passed this award on last week to just about everyone on my blogroll, I’m not going to pass it on again.

Here we are again- another Monday and time for more memes.  Each week you can save up your memes and awards and post them on Monday.  This will help you not to fall behind.  Then come here and sign Mr. Linky so we can all go and visit the other participants.

This week I was tagged by Liza to do the meme about 6 unimportant or quirky things about me.  I actually just did this one last week, but I’m sure I can think up six more things.

1. I had braces for three years when I was younger.
2.  One time when I was about 16 and I didn’t have school my mom came home from work on her lunch break (which I did NOT expect) and found out I had a boy there.  I tried to hide him in the closet, but something about him leaving his bike out in front of our house gave away his presence.
3. I do not iron.  If something is wrinkled I put it in the dryer until the wrinkles are gone.
4. I try to avoid using public bathrooms, but if I absolutely have to use a public bathroom I try very hard not to actually touch anything.  Especially after I have washed my hands.  I use a paper towel to turn the water off and to open the door to leave the bathroom.
5. I have my spices in alphabetical order.
6. I love cereal and could probably eat it for all three meals and be perfectly happy.

I’ve actually done this one before here and I don’t really want to use my maiden name, so I decided to just use my first name.
