Niagara Falls Trip Part 3

Our last day of our weekend trip to Niagara Falls:

Hailey had been begging to go into one of the haunted houses.  We wouldn’t let her but told her she could pose with some of the scary people instead.

My little miss :-)

Getting ready to go on the Maid of the Mist

Hailey on the Maid of the Mist… she only liked it when she was getting wet.  The rest of the time she said she felt sick.

Us

We had lunch at Rainforest Cafe.  It was so much fun!

Hailey posing with the elephants

She gave her lunch 2 thumbs up.

With the gorillas

So excited to touch the snake.

We played some mini golf- Hailey loved the dinosaurs.

Hitting the ball

The volcano, Hailey’s favorite part

She wrote her name in the sand at one of the holes.

We had a fun filled weekend!  Hailey asks when we’re going back to “Ry-nag-ra Falls.”

After the show we went to deer part of Marine Land so Hailey could pet some deer.

Then we continued to make our way around the park.

We were able to see everything we wanted to see and Hailey had so much fun!

Afterwards we had dinner at Planet Hollywood.

Then we walked around to see what there was to see.

Such a fun day!!

Niagara Falls Trip

After Hailey got done with school we took a little weekend trip to Niagara Falls (or Ry-nag-ra Falls as Hailey says it).

We ate dinner at the Skylon the night we arrived.  This was the view we had during dinner.

Hailey loved the view!

Me and my little miss eating our dinner.

Rich and Hailey at dinner.

We did enjoy the view during dinner but found the actual dinner to be disappointing.  I know part of what we were paying for was the view, but we expected a better selection of food for $100 for 3 people.  There wasn’t anything kid friendly and the quality of the food just wasn’t worth the price.

After dinner we went out on the observation deck to check out the falls.

Hailey being silly :-)

We went back to our hotel so Hailey could spend some time in the indoor pool.  I didn’t bring my camera because I had planned to go swimming with her.  But the water was too cold for me so I just watched Hailey and Rich play in the pool.

This was the view from our hotel.  We were able to watch the fireworks over the falls too.

Hailey got up bright and early the next morning, excited about our plans to go to Marineland.  After a yummy breakfast, we were off…

Hailey was pretty brave and wanted to try a lot of rides that she would have been scared to try in the past.  The first ride she decided to try she called the “Up and Down” ride.

She LOVED it and gave it a thumbs up!

Still feeling brave she gave the Ladybug Rollercoaster a try.  She LOVED this one too!  She rode it several times and even rode with her hands up for the entire ride.

I lost count of how many times she went on the “Up and Down” ride.

We enjoyed some more rides and then we were off to see a show.

Hailey had a great time watching the sea lions, dolphins and walrus.

Waving goodbye

Hailey got herself dressed and then put on a show for me using her “fancies.”

She’s quite the dancer!

My little miss

We went to an indoor bike riding/roller skating party with Hailey’s UPK:

Hailey got to ride her bike in a nice big open space instead of our dining room.  We live on a pretty steep hill so she usually doesn’t get to ride her bike unless we take her somewhere to ride it.

She had to try going around on skates a few times.  Then she remembered that she does not like skating.

Doesn’t Rich look nice with a princess helmet on?  Hailey did not think so.

The helmet back where it belongs.

A few more rides around on her bike.

Hailey and me.  Then we went home where Hailey slept soundly all night long :-)

Hailey and Dottie

One more shot of Hailey and Dottie.

As much as I am sick of the snow, I did think this particular snow looked pretty.  Here’s a view of our back yard from our deck:
