6 Months Old

Hunter at 6 months old with Tigger.  How has half a year already gone by?

Love that little face!

Hunter tried out his sippy cup today.  He did not want to put it in his mouth… he puts everything else in his mouth, but not the cup.

Hunter is so proud that he can sit up all by himself.

Hunter also enjoys rolling from back to front.  He hates being on his stomach though, so he usually cries as soon as he realizes what he’s done.

New stuff from this last month:

Hunter can now roll from back to front.  He can sit up by himself (we have to sit him up, but he can stay up once we sit him up.)  Hunter also puts his pacifier in his mouth by himself.

Hunter has had a rash for the last 2 weeks… we’re not exactly sure what is causing it at this point.  At first the doctor thought it was a heat rash, then he thought it was a grass rash.  Now he says it is Seborheic Dermatitis, which is basically cradle cap… except he has it everywhere.  So we are using a couple different creams to try to get it to clear up.  I am praying that it clears up soon as it really seems to be itchy for my poor little man.

Sleep- Hunter is still getting up a couple of times during the night.  Since he usually goes right back to sleep, I won’t complain.  He usually takes 3 naps per day- an early morning nap, an early afternoon nap and an early evening nap.  His naps are usually about 1 to 1 1/2 hours.  He is still napping in his swing.

Hunter is still breastfeeding and also eating some baby food.  He usually nurses about every 3 hours.

Hunter is 18 pounds 6 oz (70th percentile) and is 27 1/2 inches long (80th percentile).  He is still wearing 6-9 month clothes and size 3 diapers (about $20 for 96 diapers in the Huggies brand).
