Cute Things Hailey Said This Week

One of the fun things about the age that Hailey is now is the funny and cute things that come out of her mouth.  Here are some of my favorites from this week:

After I had finished doing my hair Hailey said, “Mommy’s hair looks pretty. It looks like fireworks.”  I’m not sure sure that’s a compliment.

Just a random statement that Hailey said, “Mommy knows everything. She is smart.”  Let’s see what she thinks in about 10 years.

We were learning the letter E last week and I told Hailey that Ellie (her aunt) starts with E. Hailey said, “Ellie starts with E? Wow, that’s amazin.”

On Sunday when I told Hailey it was time to get ready for church she said, “I have to finish my business first.”  The business she was finishing ended up being a nice little surprise in her pull-up.

I noticed that Hailey had some food on her nose that wouldn’t wipe off, so I licked my finger and cleaned it off.  Hailey said,  “Don’t eat me nose Mommy.  That’s gucky.” (gucky=yucky)

  1. That IS amazing!

Could you please give Hailey a big hug and a kiss for me!

  2. I love this age where kids say the cutest things. Their world is so fresh and new and they are so open and honest. I just love it! (If Riley were ever to decide to start talking, I might get to enjoy it again at some point!)

It is so cute what little ones say! I love the one about her saying your hair looks like fireworks! :) I started keeping a journal of all the funny things they would say and ask. It is fun to go back and read them now!

  6. I always loved that age.

Oh and as for the halloween pics.. OH goodness no.. I don’t decorate outside except for christmas, I’m just lazy like that LOL.. but this place went all out I had never in my life seen anyone decorate so much for halloween so I had to take a picture.

  7. I love the cute things that children say. Over the years and after 10 years in Kindergarten I have written down some of my favorites and when I read them – it brings back tons of memories and laughs and sometimes tears.
