Hailey’s letter to Santa.

Hailey was in the Christmas program at church- the kids sang “Happy Birthday Jesus.”

Hailey’s artwork was selected to be on display at a local hospital.  We went to the Gala Reception- Hailey was pretty proud or her accomplishment!  And she enjoyed some cookies and hot chocolate too

He loves that little mirror behind him.  He “talks” to the baby in the mirror.   There’s also this little bird on it that jingles when he hits it and he lays there and just hits it over and over again.

After Hailey put this headband on Dottie and looked at the picture I took she said, “Hmmmm, I wonder why she’s not smiling.”

Hailey decided she wanted to learn all about horses.  We did some crafts and learned about horses.  She read one of her horse books from the library to her dolls.

We went to a small maple farm so Hailey could see how maple syrup is made:

There were horses at the farm.  Hailey was pretty excited!

Quite happy to go her first horse ride.

She had to ride again later so she could try out the brown horse.

Hailey actually slept in until about 7am… then someone called my phone and that woke her up.  Then she ran out to the living room to see if Santa had come:

Then we were off to Rich’s parents’ house to open more presents.

Soon after Hailey went to sleep Santa stopped by to deliver some gifts.

Hailey actually slept in a bit on Christmas morning until about 7am.  Then she came in to tell me and Rich that is was morning.

She walked out to the living room and saw that Santa had brought her some presents.

I know this picture turned out blurry- but Hailey is showing off the gift that she made at preschool for me and Rich for Christmas.  She was so proud of it and I was excited because it’s the first homemade Christmas present I have from her that I didn’t help her make.

After we opened our presents from Santa we went over to Rich’s parents’ house for more gift giving.  I didn’t take any pictures while we were there.  Later my parents, brothers and sister-in-law came over to our house for dinner and more presents.  I’ll post those pictures in another post.
