well, i know quite a few people who’d hate this list, but I found it quite enjoyable, being an old fashioned girl myself. (though i’ve never darned a sock, i must say) And like you, I didn’t quite get the part about letting the man sleep late on Sunday (right after the church requirement). But then again, in 1939, people got up before dawn on weekdays to work, so I guess what we think of as “early” on Sunday would have been late to them.

Well, I’m 56 and I find this a bit dated. Just saying. You know the typical giving wife and the not so giving husband. Appears to be all about the man. So, I’d flunk. Have a great day and weekend.
