My Little Bookworm and a GIVEAWAY!
Hailey loves books. When she is given the choice between a toy and a book she almost always picks a book. I have read to her since she was few days old, so I’d like to take the credit for her love of books. But, I know other moms who have done the same thing and their kids aren’t little bookworms like Hailey is. Whatever the reason, I am thrilled that Hailey loves books so much.
Well, I have a new favorite book to tell you about- it’s called The Prince’s Bedtime written by Joanne Oppenheim and illustrated by Miriam Latimer. It’s a story about a Prince who will not go to sleep no matter what the King and Queen try (sound familiar?). All sorts of people come to try to help the prince go to sleep, but he still will not go to sleep. It is the cutest story I have read in a long time and I absolutely love it. And, in case you can’t tell by the picture, Hailey loves it too!
We also have a new book called Motherbridge of Love which was Illustrated by Josée Masse. The words of the story are an anonymously written poem about adoption. If you have adopted your child or you know someone who has adopted a child this book is perfect.
We got these books from Barefoot Books, where they have an amazing selection of books. I love the philosophy and vision of their company. Plus if you are looking for an easy business of your own to run you will definitely want to check out the Stallholder program. This is a business that a lot of mothers and fathers do and the start up is incredibly easy.
So, now for an AMAZING giveaway. Are you ready? If you would like to win a new book then you’re going to love this giveaway. Check out Barefoot Books, leave me a comment and you’ll be entered to win ANY book you want. Let me repeat that for you- ANY book you want- no price limit. Woo Hoo! Now that is exciting, isn’t it?
You don’t need to have to blog in order to enter the giveaway. All you have to do to be entered is leave me a comment letting me know you would like to win. If you do not have a blog, be sure to leave your email address so that I can contact you if you win. If you do have a blog you do not have to post about the giveaway on your own blog, but if you do- come back and leave a second comment with the direct link to your post and you will be entered twice. The contest will end on Tuesday, April 29th at 11:59 pm (EST) when I will use the random number generator thingee to pick a winner.
You can follow any responses to this entry through the RSS 2.0 feed. You can leave a response, or trackback from your own site.
